Hand-thrown stoneware

Plates, bowls, and platters are hand-thrown by named potters in North Carolina and Portugal. Reactive glaze means no two pieces are identical — this is a feature, not a flaw.

Portuguese forged flatware

Flatware is drop-forged in a family workshop in Guimarães, Portugal — full-tang, stainless 18/10, brushed satin or PVD-coated finishes. No hollow handles, no flexing tines.

200gsm washed linen

Linen runners and napkins are woven from European flax at 200gsm — twice the weight of typical cotton-blend napkins. Stonewashed, mitered, and pre-shrunk.

Lead- and cadmium-free glazes

All ceramic glazes are independently lab-tested against lead and cadmium leach standards. Reports linked from the product page.
